Summer in Baxter Village used to mean the community pool and not much else after dinner. That has changed. Between the Thursday concerts a mile north on Dairy Barn Lane and the restaurants filling in around Market Street, most of what makes a good July week here now happens on foot or with a short golf-cart trip.
If you already live inside the walkable ring of Springmaid Park and the Community Center, the useful question is no longer "what is there to do." It's how to sequence a week so you're not driving to Kingsley for every meal.
The Thursday Anchor
The single event that shapes a Baxter summer sits just outside the neighborhood.
